I've been thinking the last few days, what if an ordinary, intelligent, 58 year old man with no money, a couple of felonies, a divorce and a few bankruptcies ran for President. A man who wanted to make the world a better place, first by getting rid of the international bankers, because, if you do that, you can solve almost all the other problems in the world pretty easily. Like climate change and wars.
Of course it seems pretty improbably, almost insane. But, you know, America was built on crazy dreams. We were settled by people who came here trying to escape something, usually persecution. They were trying to put the past behind and make a new life, a new future, for themselves and their families. So, in reality, what could be more American than for someone like me, who has a rich background and a drive to make every American's life better, to dream big, and succeed. Other than everyone will say that I don't stand a chance. Of course not, not unless someone else is willing to believe, too. And I know some people who are.
