Violence in Jerusalem and the middle east has been so prevalent in the past six decades that most of us are numb to it. It's horrible. It registers. But it's also par for the course and never surprising.
For some reason - this time, however - after reading of the latest attack which killed four innocent people doing nothing more than praying in their synagogue, butchered with meat cleavers, I have a heck of a tough time seeing how anyone who believes in their "cause" can "praise" this kind of attack as Hamas just did. I mean, really. How does this further your agenda?
I know evil has it's attractors but at what point does slaughter defeat the purpose?
I'm not naive here. This is old news. But even the Weather Underground had their agenda. The difference is they were not looking to butcher people to make their point. They did accidentally commit murder but it was not by design. Hamas and these particular Palestinian terrorists (who committed the attack), along with ISIS (who, apparently, have also been beheading children), are so uniquely twisted that the only way these losers feel they can get their message across is by committing the absolute worst offenses on the planet and turning into monsters.
I don't know. I don't understand stupidity, ignorance, and hatred all wrapped together. I do understand how these folks are brainwashed, but at what point does the human animal make the choice of believing that slaughtering another is a positive thing?
