Back in May a Palestinian teenager was tragically shot and killed by an Israeli policeman during a stone throwing demonstration in the West Bank. All civilian loss of life in conflicts is grievous and losing a young person to violence is especially terrible.
Israel has now arrested the policeman on a charge of manslaughter for the death of Nadim Nuwara.
There is an opinion out there in the intertubes that states to the effect that Israel has a policy of 'genocide' or 'ethnic cleansing' towards Palestinians. While I believe this is a specious argument there are those that hold to it as their belief.
For any that share this 'line of reasoning' I would ask the question "Why are they arresting the policeman when he is carrying out the policy of the state?"
