I'm finally done with my conversion of the grand jury documents into readable format, and they're uploading now. I'm putting them in the correct folders (Edit: Done!) for all to view and pore over as they appear. Please view and pore them over.
But this diary is about one specific document. This one. Darren Wilson's toxicology report, which shows negative for illegal drugs but an elevated creatinine level. Now, I'm not a doctor, but I felt like I'd heard of creatinine. Creatinine measurements are a measure of kidney function, and Wilson's are triple what you would expect. It's possible this was caused by dehydration, but as high as they are, I suggest an alternative explanation. And if you clicked on the link you know what it is.
Now, from the medical report, we know Darren Wilson takes no medications and is in good physical health. That eliminates kidney failure and hypertension medicine as possible causes for the creatinine level. And I can't imagine that someone who works outside in the Midwest would be unaware of the life and death situation that can arise if you don't keep hydrated in August.
So that leaves anabolic steroids. This is known to cause elevated creatinine levels, and his chilling testimony does not suggest someone who was in his right mind at the time he chased down and killed a teenager in a hail of bullets on a city street.
We know there's a significant problem with steroids in law enforcement. We know Darren Wilson is a cop whose respect for the citizens he serves is seriously lacking. And we know roid rage is a thing. It's time to start asking: Was Mike Brown a victim of roid rage?
