Its also making the rounds among the usual right wing echo chamber outlets.
A tattooed gang of militants declared open season on the NYPD in the wake of the Eric Garner grand jury decision, according to a threat a police union verified Saturday.
Ten Black Guerrilla Family members are “preparing to shoot on duty police officers,” Sergeants Benevolent Association President Ed Mullins said.
The gang, formed in the 1960s in the California prison system, recently surfaced on the East Coast and Maryland, where members are at the heart of a drug-trafficking and corruption probe within the Baltimore prison system.
Members swear allegiance for life and sport “BGF” tattoos, as well as ink depicting a dragon surrounding a prison tower, according to gangs.org.
gangs.org comes up as a dead link for me, but according to Wikipedia.

It looks like the last time they did anything was 1989.
Seriously NYPD?
Of course now they will blame Obama for not doing anything about this.
I really want to vomit.
Updates Below
Story came from from Ed Mullins, President of the Seargants Benevolent Association.
Here's some stuff on Ed. Lovely isn't it.?

Mayor Bill de Blasio Tuesday accused an NYPD union of "fear-mongering" by blaming its opposition to the city's bid for the 2016 Democratic National Convention on plummeting police officer morale and rising crime.
De Blasio said a letter from the union's president to the Democratic National Committee was an effort "to try and benefit their own opposition to labor talks."
The mayor made his comments in response to the letter Tuesday from Edward Mullins, the president of the 13,000-member Sergeants Benevolent Association.
Mullins wrote that "the great city . . . is lurching backwards to the bad old days of high crime, danger-infested public spaces, and families that walk our streets worried for their safety."
Bratton says the story is overblown. Of course that doesn't mean it won't be repeated over and over and over. Be ready for it.

But Bratton said Sunday the report about the threat is “very overblown, as best as we can tell.”
“I’m very familiar with the gang in question, based out of Baltimore,” Bratton told WCBS 880’s Monica Miller. “This is based on a Nov. 24 phone call that was made by somebody allegedly from that gang.
“We always investigate these things very thoroughly, and we always will err certainly on the side of officer safety, always encouraging our officers to be especially aware of it,” he added. “There’s no specificity of that particular threat directed against this department at this time.”
