Dear Mr. President.
Your support for the recent budget being debated in the Senate today is so disappointing and I am so disappointed in you for working so hard to get it passed.
You came into office at a time when the economy was barely breathing. It was the worst economic meltdown since the depression in the 1930's and it was all because of the actions by banks - taking unnecessary risks, losing trillions of dollars, and then having to be bailed out by taxpayers.
The same types of things that got us in to trouble in 2008 are now in this bill that you are supporting.
I thought it was the GOP and their allies who were the powerful people in Washington who were rigging the system to help Wall Street at the expense of the middle class. But it both saddens and confuses me that the leaders of the Democratic Party are part of this group, including Chuck Schumer, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Mark Warner, Harry Reid and yourself.
The leaders of The Democratic Party have sold out the middle class, but they have also sold out Democratic constituencies like the poor, the middle class and racial and ethnic minorities by supporting the very policies you fought against. Millions of Democrats voted for you and worked so hard to get you elected so your support of this bill is a massive betrayal on all levels across the board.
I have worked hard to get Democrats elected, by registering voters, canvassing, making telephone calls and I have contributed to Democratic candidates, yourself included, but even when I do all of that and my candidates get elected, all I get is more Republican, trickle down economic theories and it's not only depressing, it's obvious it is all been a big waste of my time and my money.
And this is what your spokesperson, Josh Earnest had to say about all of this:
White House spokesman Josh Earnest argued that the bill does more good than bad, and that it represented compromise for the GOP, which initially wanted to gut the Affordable Care Act and Obama's executive actions on immigration.
"This is the kind of compromise that the president's been seeking from Republicans for years now," Earnest said in an appearance on MSNBC.

If this is really the kind of compromise you want from the GOP, I don't want any part of it.
The senate is going to pass this bill and somewhere down the road, Wall Street is going to get itself in trouble and they will look to the taxpayers AGAIN to bail them out. Keep in mind that this will be your legacy - another economic disaster made by you and your new GOP allies and Democratic supporters of Wall Street.
Thanks for listening.
Respectfully,
