NORAD is tracking Santa again this year. The jolly old guy in the fuzzy red suit is now over Europe. He's already passed out over three billion presents. But he's running late this year.
Go below the orange sleigh to find out more.
He got slowed down over West Africa. He had some experimental vaccines other medicines and safety gear that he needed to drop off there, plus some plain old food and some other necessities for those in the Ebola region.
Other major slowdowns over Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria other areas where conflicts rage. He had a big load of common sense that he was sprinkling around in the hopes that it will stop the fighting there.
He was really delayed over Moscow. He made a few trips there, dumping a huge load of coal he picked up from Poland all over Putin's economy and restrictive laws.
Santa had some problems over North Korea, too. His GPS kept malfunctioning and his laptop refused to stay online. He could have hit one of Pyongyang's unlighted buildings except for the glow from Rudolph's nose. Mrs. Claus was seriously pissed when his smart phone went dumb while they were talking.
I can only imagine what he'll have with him to distribute for us in the US. Considering all of the things that we've had going on in the last year. A lot of "naughty" and not so much "nice." But better than some of the places that Santa is visiting tonight.
If you want to see what Santa is up to (and maybe let the kids and/or grandkids get some familiarity with world geography) you can track Santa here: http://www.noradsanta.org/
Peace, Health and Happy Holidays to All!
