Yesterday in this space, we explored how President Obama's Re-Election Chances were Doomed by his failure to go to France.
I just read Eileen B's diary Maddow - Until I saw this I didn't understand -Video Paris Sings Imagine. Today I say:
Thank Goodness he didn't go.
"Imagine" President Obama had gone and joined in the massive singalong of John Lennon's song. Here are just a few anticipated reactions:
I am shocked and disappointed that President Obama joined in proclaiming that "there's no heaven" and "no hell." Can we trust a President who doesn't believe in divine justice?
-- Mike Huckabee
We always suspected that President Obama was an active participant in Agenda 21 but now we are certain. Lustily singing "Imagine there's no countries/ It isn't hard to do" in the company of many other world leaders shows without doubt that he supports "pushing...government control on a global level."
-- Glenn Beck
President Obama proved today that he truly is a pacifist, by joining the Paris mob singing "nothing to kill or die for." Really, Mr. President? Maybe for you, but not for the kids we want to send to kill and die.
-- John McCain and Lindsay Graham
The President showed his true colors as a Godless atheist today, proclaiming "Imagine no religions" with a horde of followers.
-- Pat Robertson, James Dobson, Ken Ham and David Barton
The socialistic Obamacare was only the beginning, we realized today, when we heard the President say at the top of his lungs, "Imagine no possessions." We've been warning you since 2007 that the President was a communist. Now we know for sure.
-- Wall Street Journal Editorial
No need for greed or hunger? How could he dare to say (or sing) such a thing! After all, "one day a kid doesn’t have lunch, right, maybe that’s a teaching moment when that kid doesn’t have lunch."
-- Guest on Fox and Friends in September 2013.
Whew! -- The President really lucked out by staying home.
