Cedwyn's quilt -- it is a big one!
MrsBadger is the widow of badger, a longtime kossack and member of the Monday Night Cancer Club. Cancer stole him from her side in July and her grief has been bottomless ever since. We are here tonight to gather the last messages and funds for a community quilt for her, something she can gather around herself to remind her that she has community support, all over this country, something she can cry into, something that will provide her with some rest for her hurting heart.
We are short 3 messages for this quilt.
Yasuragi's quilt, basted for quilting. This quilt will be finished either today or tomorrow.
What is a community quilt? It is a quilt containing loving messages from you, transcribed by me in archival ink on muslin. My sister and I sew your words into something warm and wonderful, full of color and love. These quilts have a buzz to them and I swear it is from the loving words. Never underestimate the power of loving words to comfort and support healing!

It takes time and material to make a community quilt -- and it is a small living for me and my sister. If you would like to contribute toward the cost of MrsBadger's quilt, here is a PayPal button or message me for an address if you prefer a check. $15/message is suggested -- but if you are broke, no worries. These quilts have always been crowdfunded, with some giving more so that others who can't afford to donate will feel comfortable leaving messages. And somehow, this always works!
