The horrific polling numbers for the GOP keep coming in!
Take a look at this handy chart showing yesterday's swing state numbers from Quinnipiac:
-The numbers for Pennsylvania look more like what we'd expect in New Jersey. The best bet for the Republicans there is Chris Christie...who manages to be down by only 11 points. But he's not going to be the nominee anyway.
-In Florida, Rubio's way down and it will even be a struggle for Bush to win there. And it's not an outlier: The close result here is in line with other recent Hillary vs Jeb polls in the state.
-Clinton is also crushing them all in Ohio with the exception of John Kasich, who doesn't even appear to be running right now.
So at this admittedly very early stage...the only outside hope for Republican victories in Florida and Ohio is a Bush/Kasich or Kasich/Bush ticket.
Wait a second...Kasich/Bush 2016? Yeah right!
But keep in mind that even if the Republicans somehow eek by in these two states, Hillary would still get to 270 with the Kerry states plus New Mexico, Nevada and Virginia.
