Why oh why would anyone report what I said?
After taking some heat for
punting on whether he believes in evolution, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker gathered his thoughts and came out with the kind of
non-answer that, had he said it to begin with, would have been a non-story. But beyond saying that "faith & science are compatible," Walker couldn't resist whining a little:

Yes, "the media" politicized the issue of Walker's refusal to say whether he believes in the science of evolution. Until "the media" got its dirty hands on his answer, Walker's words were in a realm cleansed of politics, completely unrelated to his assessment of what Iowa Republican caucus-goers think. Damn the media for daring to report the exact words of a likely presidential candidate on a political jaunt to another country.
How exactly does he think this running for national office thing works?
