As I write, the pathetic Republican presence on the Federal Communications Commission is weeping about "regulation," after two Commissioners have already said "Net Neutrality" will be the decision of the Commission (and Chair Wheeler has already declared in public he supports that option, too...making the vote three to two.
I can't believe Ajit Pai is so "in the tank" he believes the citizens are not right, and corporations should have the right to suck as much money as possible from those willing to pay, leaving the majority of citizens with pathetic leftover bandwidth after the privileged have bought all they can. I can't wait for O'Rielly's equally biased response.
To those who don't vote, here is the point: Four million of us "voted" with our submissions to the FCC; fewer than 1% supported the big corporations' greed. When the public turns out, even in the worst of circumstances, we ultimately win. This is STILL a democracy.
