Welcome to Sunday All Day Brunch. This is an open topic thread so help yourself to the goodies and sit a spell and let us know what is new with you. Clouds are made up of tiny water or ice crystals. Cloud watching has been popular ever since mankind learned to look up to the sky. Clouds are a frequent part of popular sayings. My Dad would say that someone who wasn't paying attention had "their head up in the clouds and locked."
Having lived in a dry climate most of my life it was only latter in life that I got used to clouds as something other than harbingers of storms. I am always fascinated between the contrast of white and dark clouds.
I frequently try and get photographs of clouds but it wasn't until the day after my Mom died that I got a picture that still gives me goose bumps to this day. It is hard to explain how much this picture lifted my spirits.
As an artist I also am well aware of what clouds can contribute to a picture.
Taken the day after I lost Mom.
