I've been attempting to start a series online for some time. I was preparing on launching a series of webcomics on the 20th, which would also have included occasional animations. In time, I wanted to build up to a web studio doing CG work and animations. Unfortunately, my computer is not currently usable, and I'm asking for help.
I am disabled. Despite having no car and finding it increasingly difficult to get around, I've been unable to find a job for many years. As things stand now, I don't think I'm going to be able to begin working without a small amount of cash to get me going.
My first project is called the View from Space. It's a very progressive storyline. The characters are ordinary people who are underemployed and struggling to survive. I want to bring a vision of the real America to people, rather than the sanitized version that Hollywood usually gives us.
I've been developing the skills I need for this project for a very long time. I feel that if I receive some help, I will be able to gain at least some income, and be able to improve my situation from there. Without funding, I suspect that all that time will be wasted and I won't be able to afford the basic tools I need to continue.
My GoFundMe campaign is here.
As of right now, I'm logging in from a library computer to get this campaign started, so I may not be able to log in as often as I would like to keep track of things.
