But for one weekend, I'm offering something special to Kossacks who've been considering but the distance may be too great.
Outside of an unbelievable event I'm working on for Friday night (can you say: Karaoke with a twist?) I've spent time working on something unique for those who are traveling at a distance.
I know that many Kossacks look at events like this and find that their budgets are tight- or that the idea of turning up and meeting with others may be a struggle.
So, for one weekend - and ONE WEEKEND ONLY - I've worked and agreement with hotels in Kansas City to provide me a nearly 70% discount on rooms for those traveling, as well as transportation from the hotel to the event. That's right. A stay at Universal Radison will run individuals less than $40 per night..
Please note: If you are interested in this option, you must KOSMAIL or Email me at: tmservo433@gmail.com, and I'm accepting from people who face a more than 4 hour drive OR who are traveling via plane (and are not staff, so sorry for DailyKos employees!)
This is a great opportunity for Kossacks to get away for a weekend at record low cost.. two nights in a hotel for $80? A day with Kos staff for $30? For $110 in a weekend, travelers get the kind of experience that is hard to get anywhere else.
REGISTER HERE: $30 registration fee at Eventbrite

I'm looking forward to seeing many of you in Kansas City - and later in Asheville.
