Received this e-mail today from former Treasurer Cary Kennedy’s (D. CO) gubernatorial campaign:
We wanted you to meet Miguel. Miguel, who lives in Center, Colorado, is one of the best people to tell you how important the Building Excellent Schools Today (B.E.S.T.) program has been to rural Colorado.
“Cary made a difference in our lives in Center, Colorado. She’s going to make a difference wherever she goes.”
Cary crafted the B.E.S.T. program that funded – and continues to fund – the renovation and replacement of hundreds of crumbling and dilapidated schools across Colorado, with no new or increased state taxes.
Miguel attended school in Center and has 3 daughters that go to public school there. Center Consolidated School, the community’s joint high school and junior high school, was rebuilt as a result of the B.E.S.T. program.
Miguel’s family isn’t the only one in Colorado benefitting from an updated facility, 150,000 students across our state have benefited. Chip in and spread the word about what Cary has already done for communities across Colorado.
Miguel shared what BEST has done for his family and his community. Take a minute to hear first hand what Miguel had to say about B.E.S.T:
Miguel is with Cary. Are you?
Cary is an innovative problem solver for Colorado and has been on the forefront of fighting for public education for Colorado’s kids.
Cary is fighting to keep Colorado innovative and forward thinking. Join her team with a $10 contribution to make sure our progress reaches all of Colorado.
-Team Cary
P.S. Special thanks to Center’s own Stefan Welsh, who helped us film Miguel’s story.
