It is with the utmost of love, gratitude and respect I present to you the work of this young woman, Thorbites. If you like what she does, Follow her on Twitter
Saw her work and tracked her down via #Freewayblogger tag on Twitter. She saw my signs and said to herself, “Hey, I could do that!” and then did.
I met her a couple of weeks ago. She’s not a part of any group: she works alone and her signs say whatever she wants them to.
Her tools are cardboard, paint and a projector. She sacrifices something like three hours and a dollar a week to reach half a million drivers or more. If we had a hundred more like her, the entire political landscape of this nation would be changed.
If you’re in an activist group, and your group isn’t reaching half a million people every week, consider what she’s doing, and I’m doing, and then ask yourself what’s keeping you from doing it.
Cardboard, paint, and a projector… that’s all it takes.
No meetings. No fundraising. No groups. No organizing. Just you.
Put the words on the cardboard, then put the cardboard in front of eyeballs.
