I had the opportunity to travel to Washington DC on Wednesday with a bunch of people from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to protest the repeal of the Affordable Care Act. Close to 500 activists gathered at St Marks Episcopal Church, held civil disobedience training, and left for Senate Republican offices from there. The media reported that 155 activists were arrested. Some of the legal observers said that number of activists arrested was 172. Pennsylvania had one of the largest showings with 2 buses from Philadelphia and carpools from around the state. 18 Pennsylvanians were arrested outside of Senator Pat Toomey’s office.
Here are a handful of videos I published on the Raging Chicken Press Facebook page.
