It’s a bit early, but Moveon is having a straw poll for its members and Beto O’Rourke leads the pack. Granted, Moveon is considerably left of the readership at DKos and went full on Bernie in the last election, but it’s an early indication that the drive behind Beto’s 2020 presidential run is real and growing.
I should note again that this straw poll is being conducted by MoveOn.org, a well-known lefty organization with members like me. It’s not a national poll of likely voters, it is a poll of highly motivated, highly organized people who will vote close to 100%.
Let the primaries begin!
