RULES OF ENGAGEMENT —
- You know how this works, but as always, a gentle reminder:
- Pooties are cats; Woozles are dogs. Goggies are dogs, too, and moggies are cats. Birds...are birds! Peeps are people. PWB Peeps are Pooties, Woozle, Birds People.
- No trolling the diary.
- If you hate pootie diaries, leave now. No harm, no foul.
- Share any and all pootie/woozle photos or issues that you would like .
- If you have health/behavior issues with your pootie or woozle, feel free to bring it to the community. We just may have someone whose experience can help.
- Whatever happens in the outer blog STAYS in the outer blog. This is a place to relax and play; please treat it accordingly.
- There are some pics we never post: snakes, spiders, creepy crawlies, any and all photos that depict or encourage human cruelty toward animals. These are considered “out of bounds” and will not be tolerated.
- There is no such thing as stealing a photo around here, but if you would like a pic from the comment threads, please ask the poster. He/she may have a copyright to those pics. Many thanks!
- It should not need to be said, but ANY/ALL photos that imply or encourage human violence against an animal will be considered verboten! Whether it is “comedic” or not.
Thorsdai’s Child has far to go. But home is where the heart is….
The daily fun-meter sometimes seems bland.
The daily juggle seems so same old, same old.
We’er all looking for a bit of excitement and travel.
A journey to somewhere else seems needed, and worthwhile.
The world is a big place with so much inviting adventure.
Other places takes us out of our self centered view, and places us in the world.
There’s some great art to see, while travelling.
Big fields of dreams beckon us and nurture us.
Some city-scapes that we’ll continue to see in our dreams after we get back home.
Some mountain vistas will remain imprinted in our minds forever.
Some places will remind us of our interconnected history.
Some places will remind us that life is interconnected and ‘family’ is a huge word.
In other places, we will make friendships we will not forget.
Some places, the food will be just as memorable as the friends we make there.
In other places, we will be reminded that everything is temporary, and we must live now.
Some places will teach us to see ourselves differently.
Some places will teach us that beauty is everywhere and brilliant.
While walking upon a lonely beach, meditating on all the beauty of the world, be prepared to be overtaken by magnificence!
And we return home, softly. Because it is the heart of our world.
Oh, the bath waters of home makes us sing!
