FARNHAM, VA - September 15th, 2019 – Francis Edwards is proud to announce he has confirmed his attendance to the Caroline County NAACP Candidate Forum. This forum is scheduled for September 16th at 7 pm at the Caroline County Community Center. This is a great opportunity for residents to come and ask their pressing questions to those running for office.
It is disappointing that Delegate Margaret Ransone of the 99th District is not expected to attend this candidate forum. It is essential to recognize that this will be the third consecutive forum open to the public that the Delegate has not announced she plans to attend. This is also the second public candidate forum within a week which Delegate Ransone has not announced she will attend. Francis Edwards has assured the public that he will be there to answer questions.
Constituents of the 99th District will be coming from all around Caroline County, as well as throughout the Northern Neck, and it is crucial for them to hear from all candidates to form an educated opinion on the stances of their public officials. With so much at stake for the entirety of the Northern Neck, its residents have a right to hear from those running for higher office. These individuals are running to represent all the residents within the Northern Neck. Therefore, it’s pivotal that they hear from as many people as possible to know about the issues affecting the residents of the Northern Neck.
While it is certainly disappointing that the Delegate has not indicated she will attend, Francis Edwards will be there to hear from residents of the Northern Neck. He has traveled throughout the 99th, knocking on doors, making phone calls, attending events, and answering questions. Francis Edwards is excited to attend this event and provide his plan to the audience.
The Caroline County NAACP Candidate Forum is on September 15th, 2019 from 7PM to 9PM at the Caroline County Community Center, at 17202 Richmond Turnpike, Milford, VA 22514
