Keep their sleaze away from us

Corruption is corruption, no matter where it takes place, no matter which party engages in it. Take Leo Giacometto, for example.

[...] Leo Giacometto is to Montana what Karl Rove is to America. Now that he's batting for private industry as opposed to for Republicans, he's willing to raise money for anyone he thinks will be friendly.

Giacometto is a Republican, former chief of staff to Conrad Burns, linked to Abramoff, and a lobbyist. So why do we care about yet another sleazy, corrupt Republican?

Because he is now doing fundraisers for Democratic senator Max Baucus.

Keep that shit on their side of the aisle. It's hard to talk "culture of corruption" when our own side starts fraternizing with their sleaziest characters.
