I live in Maine and lately I've been bombarded with commercials about subscribing to the Washington Times. This right-wing rag has poor subscriber numbers in the Washington DC region, read only by a handful of neo-cons and local Moonies. Now it wants a national forum. My concern is that most people don't know it is owned by a the cult leader Sun Myung Moon. After all, its name sounds legitimate - like a cross between the NY Times and the Washington Post. A couple of years ago, Rev. Moon
revealed his true mission with the Washington Times:
During the sermon, he set the course for the Times' next 10 years:
"The Washington Times is responsible to let the American people know
about God." Later, he added: "The Washington Times will become the
instrument in spreading the truth about God to the world."
How do we get the word out about the Washington Times and its background as a Moonie publication?
