On a serious note:  July 31 is a very important day.  It's Baseball's official Trading Deadline.

There are a lot of exciting races this year, everyone is trying to add help for the stretch.   But yet again the Red Sox find themselves in another street fight with the dreaded New York Mercenaries.    Ooops.  I meant "Contractors."

Yes, it's another spark in the long Twilight Struggle - born in the last century - tempered by "Free Agency."   And as everyone knows, Steinbrenner (the Dumbsfeld of Baseball ;-p), is engaged in a destabilizing arms race.  Well Boston will not fight a war, in which the fruits of victory, will be ashes in our collective mouths.

So look for a special Trading Deadline report, in the comment section, later tonite---:-]
