Did you get your check?

We've heard a lot about the Economic Stimulus Package checks that we US Citizens are supposed to be getting from the government.

But it looks like Extra Sensory Perception will be needed to actually get one of these mysterious, invisible payments.

Have you actually gotten one of these checks? Has anyone you know received one?

I haven't -- and my SS# ends in "12" (and I'm signed up for electronic transfer), which means I was supposed to get my $600 payment during the first set of transfers.

So I called my accountant on Friday, asking if she had heard anything or knew of any problems.

She called the IRS, and they told her that there was "a delay," but they refused to tell her what the delay was.

She then mentioned to me that none of her clients had received their ESP yet.

So I started asking around, and no one I know here in Cleveland -- remember us? We're the poorest big city in America? -- has received an ESP.

So am I just missing something here, or is the disbursement just another big Lie?
