AMERICA BLOG doesn't deserve your links!

Tue Jan 31, 2006 at 10:52:53 PM PDT

Now please hear me out.  I am a frequent visitor to both AMERICABLOG and DailyKOS.  However I am here to tell you that AmericaBLOG does not deserve your links or visits... John Avarios of AMERICABLOG does not believe in the cause.  He only believes in the anti-Gay cause.  HE IS NOT ONE OF US.

I will explain how I know this below.

Filibuster Alito? From reluctance to CONVICTION...

Fri Jan 27, 2006 at 03:07:46 AM PDT

This entry started out as a comment in Senator Kerry's thread but I truly feel that what I have to say is much too important to be lost in the numerous comments Sen. Kerry has received.

And if you happen to agree, please recommend this.

Let me start off by saying that I am not a Democrat. Hell, I'm not even a liberal.

What I am is an independent libertarian.

And I have something to say...

Just like a good amount of people here (Kos included), I am reluctant to an Alito filibuster.  I am not reluctant because I fear the Nuclear option, for I do not.  I am reluctant because I think filibustering Alito would be a bad move politically and in the end, it would be a lost cause.  On top of this, when I saw that it was Senator Kerry who was leading the call to filibuster Alito my first impression was that the Republicans are going to have a field day with this.

Seriously, what a bad move by the Dems!

Innocent Man Sentenced to Death in Mississippi!

It is a sad day in America.

A large group of people are trying to save Tookie William's life--a man who is guilty of murdering four people--while at the same time they ignore that a Missisippi man will be executed for protecting himself and his daughter from an intruder.

That man is Cory Maye...

Every Nominee Deserves an Up or Down Vote!--Except Harriet Miers

Thu Oct 27, 2005 at 12:58:12 PM PDT

Up or Down Vote, my ass. Hypocritical bastards.

Well, I was not surprised by this announcement, and to be honest, in the end, I think the person who will be confirmed is someone in the mold of O'Conner, thankfully.  And here's why...

Rest in Peace, Rosa...

Rosa Parks was a truly inspirational person. I wasn't alive during segragation, but it is easy to see that the impact Rosa's actions had was huge. The thing that I find most amazing about her story is how little of an action--choosing not to get up from her seat on the bus--helped to change so much.
