Obama's February Leap: 78 million? (update: I was wrong!)

Sat Mar 01, 2008 at 02:32:53 AM PDT

(This is a short diary. Apologies if it's too short. We'll probably know more tomorrow or Monday.)

Fiscally, Hillary had a great month. (Delegatorily...eh, well, that doesn't count.) Her campaign raised $35 million. Not bad; especially considering her January take.

Today, Obama's campaign manager, David Plouffe, indicated that Obama's Feb haul would be "considerably more" than that.

Well, let's do a snap calc, just for kicks:

Yesterday I posted my first diary: a few of the political "comics" I've been making as a last-ditch effort to ward off (primary season) insanity.

Take a peek if your sanity's in as short a supply as mine:

Today I thought I'd put up a little series called:

Candidate Wars: A Meditation on the Intersection of Politics and High-powered Beams of Pure Energy.

I makes some comics for funness

Note: This is my first diary. Been a lurker for...well, since the beginning. But finally, I feel like I have something genuinely substantive and illuminating to say.

I don't really know why I made these. Call it a reaction to the candidate diaries. Or to this whole "election" we're treated to.

Mainly, though, it's this: I love this country, I love this process, and I love this community. But sometimes, they all go a little too far. Sometimes, you just gotta step back from your passion and get your giggle on.
