Last night we had our first NYC meetup in six months. It was great to see kossacks I hadn't seen for too long and to meet some terrific new people.
Below the fold are a few photo highlights. Apologies for the short diary, but photos and captions is all I have time for.

I posted a version of this about a month ago, but it didn't get much traction. I thought I'd try again tonight, when the primary is really, really over.
Please add a comment letting us know what you did or thanking others you know who worked hard to bring an Obama victory.

Some of my souvenirs from the campaign trail.

...I joined more than 100 activists from the northeast and mid-atlantic regions in Philadelphia to learn how we can beat McCain and the Republicans in November.

The event that drew us all to the UPenn campus on a Saturday was a one-day Activist Training workshop organized by Asian Pacific Americans for Progress and the DNC. We learned about the Democratic Party's plans for the 2008 election, including goals, messaging and new tools for activists.

Today was the launch of a massive 50-state voter registration drive, VOTE for CHANGE. The Obama campaign is building it's volunteer base and increasing voter participation.

Thank you volunteers! OPEN THREAD

All of us who have worked with the Obama campaign know that we would not be where we are now without the help of thousands of dedicated volunteers around the country.
One of the biggest stories of this race is still the least publicized or understood among pundits and old-school politicians. That is the story of the movement Obama has started, and how hard his supporters are willing to work to meet our goals.
Senator Obama, Philadelphia is Yours!

Here it is in black and white:
I've been canvassing in Philly for the past two days with a TON of other volunteers, and it's been amazing.
Here's a little photo diary, heavy on the photos, light on the diary.
How Badly do you want Barack to be our next President?

I traveled from NYC to Philly this weekend for a Women for Obama event, the "Weekend of Women," and to knock on some doors. Below the fold are snapshots and commentary from my trip.

A Texas GOTV adventure (with pics!)
Fri Mar 07, 2008 at 04:53:18 PM PDT
On Saturday Mindoca and I flew to Austin to help kath25 and the Texas Obama campaign GOTV. I'm still processing all that happened, but wanted to get a few photos and commentary up before too much time passes.

A delicious "O" cookie.
Now THIS is people-powered politics!
Sat Feb 09, 2008 at 05:04:17 PM PDT
The untold story from February 5th is how volunteers won 93 of the 232 New York delegates for Barack Obama. It’s the story of how regular people can do the hard work and go toe-to-toe with the most powerful political machine in the state (and in the Democratic Party).

It may be freezing out, but New Yorkers are FIRED UP!
Sat Jan 26, 2008 at 04:16:01 PM PDT
While attention is focused on South Carolina, Obama supporters, volunteers and activists in February 5th states are keeping their focus closer to home. With just 11 days until the primaries and caucuses in 22 states, the sprint to the finish line has commenced.
Here in New York, it's impossible to keep up with all of the activities. There are now Obama offices in Downtown Manhattan (the headquarters), Harlem, Brooklyn, Queens, Hudson, Poughkeepsie, Albany, and Buffalo. Those are just the ones I'm aware of - offices are opening up every couple of days!
The view from inside the Harlem office.

So what's all this Obama activity in New York, you might wonder?
Why hasn't the Obama campaign written off Hillary's home state?
Well, once you have a sense of how excited New Yorkers are about Obama, you'll understand.
