It is hard to miss what is happening in Spain these days.

With $10.00/gallon gas the following is happening right now:

• More than 90,000 truckers have been striking and blockading Spanish routes for some three days now - gas pumps have gone dry and grocery store shelves are empty

Update [2005-8-30 17:10:7 by nika7k]: This is a screenshot I captured from CNN to show something I never thought possible, the twin spans WASHED OUT. It was always sorta scary to drive there, with the wind gusts. Video shows EMPTY cars on some of these broken segments, where are the people?

Sounds sorta silly huh?  

Ok, perhaps I mean to say, I wish I could live for 300 years or so, in good health.  

Why?

Those of you that are interested, opine away.

I am a Zen Existentialist and have been, admittedly in an un-zen like way, allowing certain concepts to percolate into my philosophical thought-paths these days.

This has GOT to resonate with the conservatives who want smaller gov.  This is not about 911, not about the War on Terror (sic), this is about you and me.  I think the polls show they get it.. they need to hear

over and over and over.

In understanding this at an intuitive level, we can begin to make our own way in the current and coming trials.  What that way is will be unique to each of us.

I sense that there really is little we can do to heal our collective soul other than the following:

1. Frogmarch every single senator and representative in every state and in the US Congress out the door and into waiting buses.

2. Drive said buses to isolated containment facilities, not unlike Guantanamo Bay, and maintain 24/7 electronic monitoring on these common criminals.

3. Choose the 3rd and 4th grade girls and boys with the best grades in each state and repopulate the state and national legislatures and senates.

4. Make sure they still do their homework.

I so loved working with some of you all on the early aspects of PropaGannon.  That sort of fast moving research and now the results is just so exciting.

Now I am working on another project that some of you may like to be involved with.

You may have heard about the 1700 shackled asylum seekers that, being law abiding people, are wrongfully under house arrest from 6 pm to 6 am, all across the US.  (You have read about it here and heard about it on NPR).  These people WANT to stay here and continue with the administrative hearings.  They are not flight risks.  They ARE guinea pigs for a pilot program that, if deemed successful by those with a vested interest (biased), will expand to 100,000s of people across the US.

I am putting together a "Days in the Lives" awareness raising project/website that will personalize this atrocity and focus activists who wish to mobilize on this issue.

I am suggesting that interested parties on DKos jump on a project that does something like SETI for this pundit-outing project.   It doesn't have to be specific to pundits in any way.  They can serve as the nucleus from which we begin.  It would be a great beginning.

We need structure here to be effective.

This directs the receptive listener to not hear nor trust "scientific activists" because they have lost their objectivity and are biased against a theocratic outlook on life.
