Shock and Awe Shucks, the anti Clinton Campaign.
Mon Oct 29, 2007 at 12:18:16 AM PDT
During the Clinton Presidency, major political and fiscal capital rallied against the ability of America to turn the corner to a new era of stability and plural advance at home and abroad.
Now famous books and films chronicle "The Hunting of the President" and many Americans see the extent to which the dog got wagged by GOP muckrakers. What remains is a legacy of smear and revenge waged upon the most moderate of modern Chief Executives.
Bill Clinton tried to meet Republicans in the middle of the road and got run over for it. It remains a pattern example of what America's true political paradigm has become, an unbalanced polar sphere gravitated to the right wing by big media money coupled with partisan bias.
The Hillary Clinton campaign now sees the same effort sling more mud her way, already she was arguably the number one target for the majority of his two successful tenures. Items often overlooked today, or even assumed to be part of the political framework from which we debate, include the track record of going after anyone associated with the Clinton family far beyond the bounds of political acumen.
The political has been made personal at a very low level.

So Feingold says no to Impeachment of Bush at kos...
...but the McCain rumor monger woman who speaks from the BlueJersey forums as an astroturfing Kean Jr staffer vs. Menendez mentions our fine Senator's staffers in her past smear efforts against Senator Menendez.

The Riddle/Bush connection is an entangled series of backroom deals.
Primarily dealing with interior/lumber and mineral rights deals. bush uses a forestry industry partner to set into play a development deal in prime areas of public lands.
Clear small forest tracks as claims to clearing underbrush, use said market entries to access mineral rights under said stretches of land, develop land alongside in the future for sizable markup after that.
Included in this was his Lone Star Trust matters, where he profited off a supposed blind trust by holding interest in a small business company with the Riddles.

Sun Jan 28, 2007 at 11:48:17 PM PDT
WREG channel 3 Memphis, the CBS affiliate, reports of a major scandal with a pastor from Bellevue Baptist church. The church previously held seat of the Southern Baptist Convention, when then pastor Adrian Rodgers(deceased) was its leader.
The spin and PR memos from notes and emails between church board members include "tighten the circle" to keep the scandal from going public.

Open Letter to Helen Thomas
Sun May 07, 2006 at 03:37:49 PM PDT
There's a
thank you site for Helen Thomas up and running. Be sure to say thanks to the lady who leads the way in asking the questions that matter.
"Helen Thomas, a Hearst Newspapers columnist, served for fifty-seven years as a correspondent for United Press International and, as White House bureau chief, she covered every president since John F. Kennedy. She was the first woman officer of the National Press Club after it opened its doors to women members, the first woman member and president of the White House Correspondents Association and the first woman member of the Gridiron Club. In 1998 she received the International Women's Media Foundation Lifetime Achievement Award and was honored by President and Mrs. Clinton as the first recipient of the Helen Thomas Lifetime Achievement Award."
Had to send an open letter on the site while giving thanks.

I posted the haloscan comments off an atrios comments section where my post first appeared in live time.
What can I say about that, other than 9-11 changed everything? "Bo bo admits seeing the nat'l intel estimate outing Plame, along with "several other reporters" shown it "in a group" "and seperately" by Libby himself.

An AP story talks about mercenary pork in Arkansas, Mike Huckabee must be proud.
Arkansas, at Marion.
"Downtown Fallujah is coming to Arkansas."
Is that a hard sale one liner? Mass murder marketing?
"Nine blocks off the war-ravaged city's bazaar, traffic circle, office buildings, and schools are being built among cotton, rice, and soybean fields."
Remeber, Arkansas was the state that housed Japanese internment camps during Dubya Dubya 2.
"Olive Group, a British firm that supplies
personnel and combat training for armies and corporations, plans to open three blocks this summer."
But don't let British mercenary training urban assault in North America be the only slice of pie here.
Alito- pro Commie
Thu Jan 26, 2006 at 11:50:02 AM PDT
Judge Alito's interpretation of Executive power knows no checks. He does not think that George Bush is above the law, for the reason that GWB is the Law of the land.
The President is not above the law, but he's yet to say he is below all of the law. The law is above people, we are a nation of laws.Bush is the Law's equal in the eyes of his cousin by marriage Sam Alito.
The key language to any Alito interpretation of power is in the language offered. No doubt Samuel Alito thinks there is a compelling case for Executive authority.
The use of compelling would be a key. this is synonymous with the act of rendering detainees. A compelling case would be the literal justification in and of itself to arbitrary police action.

Bill Frist is the Republican name most closely vested in the health care industry. The friday document dump included several major scandals all of which seem to have a nexus of Frist.
Healthsouth's William Owen got 5 years and uncovered a 2.7 billion embezzlement/price fixing scheme via wiretap. His boss was let go:
Rep.Drier says outsourcing is good.
Fri Nov 04, 2005 at 12:46:03 PM PDT
David Drier(R-Cali) says that he has a study proving more jobs are created for America as the result of outsourcing! This while on the House floor of Congress!
Suppose perhaps Lou Dobbs will highlight this on his show today?
Was this link what he cited?

"ITAA: Outsourcing Helps--Not Hurts--U.S. Economy
By Spencer Chin, EE Times
3:34 PM EST Mon. Oct. 31, 2005
MANHASSET, N.Y. -- Global outsourcing of U.S software and IT services has benefitted the domestic economy by improving wages, encouraging investment and spending, and ultimately by increasing the number of jobs, according to a study by the Information Technology Association of America."
Reid's a contender, the side card fight hits just as hard...
Tue Nov 01, 2005 at 04:30:01 PM PDT
Lou Dobbs had to lead on Reid's words, but his other piece was on the continuing Nucor Steel Town Hall Meetings which have come to Arkansas(BLytheville Beam and Steel Sheet Coil Mills for Nucor and N-Y-S) Nebraska, and South Carolina.
CNN had a reporter at the third metting, each growing in the number of people who show up informed and aware of outsourcing's impact.

Larry Johnson reveals that GWB let Osama out of Tora Bora, CIA personnel(and others) confirmed Osama was in transit.
He cites a NEWSWEEK article:
'According to NEWSWEEK, "Berntsen says he had definitive intelligence that bin Laden was holed up at Tora Bora--intelligence operatives had tracked him--and could have been caught. He was there." '

Bush UN Speech, slap to farmer's faces...
Wed Sep 14, 2005 at 12:14:08 PM PDT
The Red State scale economies took a slap to the face when George Bush proposed an end to all subsidies to 'level the playing field' and make our farmers compete with bananna republics for wage scales.
The attempted drowning of family farms is the next Bush agenda- drown them in debt with no underwriting necesssary to see them through to market and equipment purchase.
Rebuilding Vision
Sat Sep 03, 2005 at 10:01:17 PM PDT
The terrible circumstances of storm and negligence that have seen New Orleans face cataclysmic loss and a task of rebuilding new to American metropolitan areas must be answered with new ideas.
It is time to go renewable and bring in wind and solar power zero consumption homes to help the Crescent city become a leader in the modern self sufficient ideals once thought best embodied in Jeffersonian core philosophy.

Enron sues banks and wins.

Last night, on Nightly Business Report's recap, noting a 120 point market swing for the worst, host Paul Kangus nots that Enron won a lawsuit against banks.
Bush's career number one contributor Kenneth Lay's old company Enron won a civil reward with banks it blamed for their inability to cover projections in several instances.
