That's what someone said to me out in Northern Indiana while canvassing for four hours yesterday. The vast majority of people were concerned and respectful so I didn't let it stop me from going door to door for Obama. Please don't let it stop you from calling!

Both Clinton and Obama are here, vying for votes because they realize it is the next battleground over momentum. It may be the beginning of the end for Hillary Clinton in Indiana. Here's why below the fold...

This is an opportunity to state what you are doing in your District to pressure your Reps and Senators to end this war. No Blank Check for Bush.
The vote will come up later in the House today, so at the very least, please call your Representative and urge him/her to stop funding Bush's war and only provide funds for withdrawal and redeployment with a firm timetable. And if he vetoes, he is cutting off the funding.

Then, in your comments, please describe what other things you have done and are doing to end the war.

Found this letter on DFA's www.blogforamerica.com that is another "tea leave" that something big is up with Gore. Al Gore was supposed to be at a rally for Sen. Boxer but had to cancel.

Could he have already received the news about the Nobel Peace Prize? Just reading the tea leaves!

Dogging the Bluedogs and holding them accountable is as important now as challenging in an election. When they promise something in a campaign and then fail to follow through, we need to be there reminding them!

One of the first steps Joe Donnelly took after winning his election in Northern Indiana's 2nd District was to join the Conservative BlueDog Democratic Caucus. He constantly states how he wants to join with his friends across the aisle and has worked hard with other Bluedogs to undermine the formation of a united Democratic caucus to end the occupation in Iraq and cause further erosion of civil rights and the Constitution.

Please recommend this as an ongoing blog discussion as Iraq debate continues in the House. Should Dems be starting with this bill which they know will be watered down and/or vetoed? Does it support the Iraq war or start a process toward ending it? What problems do you see IF this bill passes as expected? How will the Senate modify it? Will Bush veto it and what will the response be if he does?
