The very first thing one learns in a university level anthropology class is that there is only one race: The Human Race. That's it! That's all you really need to know. We all come from the same place and are all made of the same stuff.
There are people from different cultures, of different colours and creeds, with differing proclivities but they are all Human. Race is a word used to divide - even when it is used by well-meaning liberals.
So it follows that there can be no such thing as racism, unless of course you have a strong dislike for people from other planets, who I'm sure are avoiding our ignorant little world like it was the universe's trailer park.

Let me begin by stating I'm not advocating calling people up and lying to them, as was the case when the Bush team used this tactic to defeat all enemies including McCain and Kerry.
I'm advocating the creation of phone-banks and letting the constituents in Republican districts on what it is their Representatives and Senators are up to.
People are far too busy to follow some of the arcane goings on very closely and I'd be willing to bet less than half of Santorum's constituents have a clue as to the fact that he is against Griswold and what that really means.

There's an axiom that goes, "he who defines the terms, wins the argument." I think liberals of all stripes need to learn this lesson, quickly.

I've looked over the Ohio vote county by county and a couple of things don't make sense.
In the counties that voted Bush, the turnout in those counties is consistently between 60 and 70%.
In counties that voted Kerry, the turnout according to the vote is consistently between 50 and 60%.
What could account for this? Were the Dems not fired up? Every report said it was so. Did Kerry get all his votes?
