As you can see by Itzl's concerned look, this group is for us to check in at to let people know we are alive, doing OK, and not affected by such things as heat, blizzards, floods, wild fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, power outages, or other such things that could keep us off DKos. If you're not here, or anywhere else on DKos, and there are adverse conditions in your area (floods, heatwaves, hurricanes, etc.), we are going to check up on you. If you are going to be away from your computer for a day or a week, let us know here. We care!
IAN is a great group to join, and a good place to learn to write diaries. Drop one of us a PM to be added to the Itzl Alert Network anytime! We all share the publishing duties, and we welcome everyone who reads IAN to write diaries for the group! Every member is an editor, so anyone can take a turn when they have something to say, photos and music to share, a cause to promote or news!

Greetings, friends of mine, and welcome to another Saturday. We made it through another week, and here we are again. Wasn’t sure what I was going to write this week, but then I realize that I have developed a strange habit, and here I sit, wondering if I am the only one.
I think that you all know by this point that I am an avid reader. I read almost anything that I can get my hands on, as long as the story is compelling. And here, is where the habit comes in. There are certain authors, and series that I follow diligently, and I have found that each time there is a new entry in one of the series that I follow, I often start from the beginning, and reread an entire series, so that I am ready for the new book, and so that the world and characters of that series are all fresh in my mind. So my question is, am I the only nutter among us, who spends so much time, reading the same books over and over again? What are your favorite books and series? Which ones do you go back to and read over and over again?
