And here we go; the semi-finals.
Three of the four participants won their respective group. Kamala Harris won Group A with a 3-0-0 record, the same record that Elizabeth Warren had winning Group B. Amy Klobuchar won Group E with a 2-0-1 score. The only person to overcome the disadvantage of not winning their group was Pete Buttigieg, who finished second in Group B with a 1-1-1 record. However, Buttigieg defeated two other up-and-coming candidates to reach the semi-finals.
But we can talk about Mayor Pete in the next match, because this match is the semi-final that people predicted, and looked forward to, and now need to decide:
Kamala Harris v Elizabeth Warren
We have two outstanding female senators, from two very blue states, from two different coasts. It’s Celtics v Lakers, it’s … well, that’s the only important trans-coastal rivalry. It’s also two candidates who started early, and have worked hard pointing toward the first set of debates at the end of this month.
Scoring: it’s win, lose, or overtime. Yes, you can pick one, or the other, or “overtime” if you can’t make up your mind. If there is overtime, it’s one additional day, one player or the other, and it’s TOTAL votes from both polls!
Important note: this is a 48-hour poll; the winner will be announce at some time on Wednesday.
Feel free to comment, complain (only a little), improve, or anything. Just remember, this is for fun.
The next match on Thursday will be the other semi-final match.
