Donald Trump is a hollow man. He always has been - and he knows it. He tries to fill up his hollow soul with lies and greed and fake pride. But there can never be enough to fill his ugly emptiness. So he must attack and destroy all hope and goodness.
We are going to beat Trump like a drum!
President Biden is everything Trump can never be. He is the opposite of that hollow man. Joe is filled with knowledge and wisdom, compassion, dignity, honor and humanity, strength and steadfastness. Also some righteous anger and that touch of Irish humor.
All of us, together, can beat Trump like a drum, until everyone hears how dangerously hollow he is.
This has brought a song to mind, so I’ll close with Peter, Paul & Mary singing Pete Seeger’s anthem of resistance:
If I had a hammer, I’d hammer in the morning,
I’d hammer in the evening, All over this land.
I’d hammer out justice, I’d hammer out warning,
I’d hammer out love between my brothers and my sisters,
All over this land.
If I had a bell, I’d ring it in the morning,
I’d ring it in the evening. All over this land.
I’d ring out justice, I’d ring out warning,
I’d ring out love between my brothers and my sisters,
All over this land.
If I had a song, I’d sing it in the morning,
I’d sing it in the evening. All over this land.
I’d sing out justice, I’d sing out warning,
I’d sing out love between my brothers and my sisters,
All over this land.
Well I’ve got a hammer, and I’ve got a bell,
And I’ve got a song to sing, All over this land.
It’s the hammer of justice, It’s the bell of freedom,
It’s the song about love between my brothers and sisters
All over this land.
All over this land.

Again, at the 1963 March On Washington (sorry, I can’t find one without a junk ad)
I love the four young women singing along:
