First Moderators Then let's have "fun" with the questions
--------
Tonight is the frist Presidential Debate of the 2016 season. A lot has been said, a lot of innuendo has been sprwad around, and we have witnessed the double standard and the sexism of the MSM.
As this NYT’s article says: this is the moment of truth for moderators.
A very candid sentence starts the piece
If this hasn’t been the worst year ever for truth in politics, I can’t think of what was. Nor can anyone tell me.
There is almost a nostalgic yearning for the times of “Truthiness”of the Bush era. In those days there was some semblance of push back or at least awareness from MSM and from the consumers of the information. What we have today is just plain unsubstantiated LIES, not white lies, not “for your benefit” lies; but in your face “you are so stupid you won’t notice” LIES.
So the question has arisen as to whether moderators should interject when a lie is spewed out of the mouth of the debaters
Donald J. Trump has said, as he did on Thursday on “Fox & Friends,” that the NBC anchor moderating Monday’s debate, Lester Holt, should stay out of the way and leave it to him and Hillary Clinton to “take each other on” over the facts.
Not surprising. But at least one of this year’s moderators, Chris Wallace of Fox News, said the same thing, as have some well-known television-news graybeards like the former PBS anchor Jim Lehrer, once a regular debate moderator himself.
Remember when Candy Crowly and the "Proceed Governor"moment? Is that what moderators should do or just shrug? Chris Wallace just wants to stand there and press the green, yellow, and red lights.
The commission has put its thumb on the noninterventionist side of the scale. When I spoke recently with the co-chairman, Frank J. Fahrenkopf Jr., he said that the moderator’s job was “to be a facilitator — to raise the issues and draw out the candidates and hopefully get them to interact themselves.”
That, he said, is different from a news program on which “you’ve got your notes of what so-and-so said: ‘Governor, you said this three weeks ago and now you’re changing the story.’ That’s an interview, not what’s supposed to happen in a debate.”
HAHAHAH the nerve
In our current environment, half of Mr. Trump’s voters can believe the false notion that Mrs. Clinton knew the 2012 Benghazi attacks were set to occur before they happened and chose not to act, as a Fairleigh Dickinson University poll found in the spring. In a more recent New York Times/CBS poll, roughly half of Trump supporters said they believed that undocumented immigrants were more likely to commit crimes than American citizens were. (The preponderance of research has found that the opposite is true.)
Trump Supporters will just go back to the earth is flat if Trump would say so…. that is not the objective… the target audience are those who really care about the future of the country regardless of party and to see the facade behind Trump's cacophony.

And now for the Questions Trump Should be asked….. these first ones come from a CNN article
What are your thoughts on the fact that America, the land of the free, holds the record for the country with the most citizens currently imprisoned, and your concrete plans, if any, on changing that startling statistic through your presidency?
The Apollo landings on the Moon inspired a generation of engineers and scientists to develop an unprecedented array of skills, talents and technologies. Today, however, we find that generation of leaders now moving into retirement. America's human spaceflight program appears mired in a series of expensive programs that really do not seem to be moving the nation in a focused direction or motivating our next generation of scientists and engineers. Do you have a plan to restore inspiration and direction to America's space program? If so, what is that plan?
Beyond body and dashboard cameras, please detail two major law enforcement reforms you will put forth as president to guarantee that police officers who unjustly murder or maim innocent citizens are fired, indicted, prosecuted and sent to prison.
The candidates and the American people have rightfully focused on the terror threat emanating from the Middle East. But there are many more threats to our national security. As you consider the demands of the office, name the top three national security issues that concern you, and the strategies, policies or doctrine you will prioritize if you are elected.
Mr. Trump, you have said your taxes are under audit and thus you can't let us see them. However, please simply tell us how much federal tax you paid in each of the past ten years—especially in light of the demonstrated fact that you paid no federal tax in 1978-79, two of the few years we have any of your old tax records available for examination. The suspicion among some people is that you have paid no federal taxes in most years during the past decade. Is that correct?
Is same-sex marriage now a settled feature of American life, and do you welcome it?
Is global warming real, serious and a priority for you?
What specific kinds of initiatives would you employ to improve the conditions of the African-American communities in our country?
Fewer people are killed by terrorists than by their armed neighbors and family members -- as president, how would you respond to that?
What specific policy proposals do you offer that could benefit Millennials, who are entering a competitive job market while burdened with tremendous college debt?
Abortion has been legal in America for over 40 years, yet it has become increasingly inaccessible to women across the country due to deeply unpopular political attacks on women's access to health care. What would you do as president to ensure that abortion remains safe, legal, and accessible?
You've called Mexican immigrants rapists and criminals and advocated widespread deportation, you've blasted some Muslim immigrants and called for a temporary ban and extreme vetting. What do you want to say to immigrant Americans about why they should vote for you?
As president would you promote the idea of a new national holiday -- Cesar Chavez Day -- to honor Latino contributions to American history, culture and identity?
what would you ask?
