The House of representatives is scheduled to recess beginning tomorrow without having voted on S.3522
This bill, which unusually for today's divided Congress passed unanimously in the Senate, would waive many requirements for the Biden administration to provide material aid to Ukraine and give the president much greater flexibility to respond quickly to changes in the ongoing war in Ukraine.
If the previously scheduled recess is not cancelled or cut short, it could be more than two weeks before the bill can be voted on and become law, an extremely long time in the fast-moving invasion.
