Gaza's missing children: Over 20,000 children estimated to be lost, disappeared, detained, buried under the rubble or in mass graves — Link to Reliefweb.
GAZA, 25 June 2024 – Up to 21,000 [1] children are estimated to be missing in the chaos of the war in Gaza, many trapped beneath rubble, detained, buried in unmarked graves, or lost from their families, said Save the Children. The agency’s child protection teams are reporting that the latest displacements caused by the offensive in Rafah have separated more children and further increased the strain on families and communities caring for them.
It is nearly impossible to collect and verify information under the current conditions in Gaza, but at least 17,000 children are believed to be unaccompanied and separated and approximately 4,000 children are likely missing under the rubble [2], with an unknown number also in mass graves. Others have been forcibly disappeared, including an unknown number detained and forcibly transferred out of Gaza, their whereabouts unknown to their families amidst reports of ill-treatment and torture.

Smotrich Has a Plan to Annex the West Bank and Netanyahu Supports It
A recorded speech by Religious Zionism chair Bezalel Smotrich was reported in the New York Times on Friday, revealing a grand plan by the settler leader and his political partner, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, to change Israel's DNA.
In his speech, Smotrich admitted that the government is annexing the West Bank behind the world's back and using the army to conceal its actions. Smotrich, the finance minister, is also a minister in the Defense Ministry, which is responsible for the Civil Administration in the West Bank. In the latter position, he is actively working on behalf of the settlement enterprise.
Israel-Gaza war live: troops to move from Gaza to Lebanon border, says Netanyahu as US warns of widening conflict
Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that fighting in Gaza is entering a less intense phase, which would allow Israel to deploy more forces to the north, close to Lebanon.
“After the intense phase is finished, we will have the possibility to move part of the forces north. And we will do this. First and foremost for defensive purposes. And secondly, to bring our [evacuated] residents home,” Netanyahu said in an interview with Israel’s Channel 14.
My diary of yesterday www.dailykos.com/…
Funnily enough, I don’t believe a word that any in the Israeli Government says.
Are we going to keep on paying for this horror?
Israel only listens to one government even if they pretend not to, the US,
We are inviting Netanyahu to what?
Attack our President before Congress?
Are we mental?
A morning muse.
