I haz plenty of suggestions but I don’t want the banhammer.
The bottom line is that Trump must be defeated: we are all antifa now.
I promise that from now until election day I will not be urging removal of Biden from the ticket, but as a Democrat, I also know that if it happens it will likely be in an orderly fashion, because Democrats, despite all the hand wringing, will also choose some scenario that includes the Democratic National Convention. I exclude from comment the various fiascos that produced GOP victories: Gene McCarthy, George McGovern, Tom Eagleton, Jesse Jackson, Gary Hart, Ted Kennedy, Bernie Sanders, etc. So just in case that happens, and I remember when people trashed me in 2016 as I suggested a Clinton-Sanders unity ticket:
From an 1864 speech by Abraham Lincoln, in reply to Delegation from the National Union League who were urging him to be their presidential candidate: ‘An old Dutch farmer, who remarked to a companion once that it was not best to swap horses when crossing streams.’
