Donald Trump Jr. continued his ongoing, Sisyphean quest to achieve his father’s approval on Saturday when he tweeted out a long list of Democrats in Congress for his MAGA followers to harass over impeachment.
There were seven more tweets filled with vulnerable (and not so vulnerable) Democrats, and with 26K retweets, you know that these Democrats’ offices are now under siege. Now, sure, that’s the way democracy works, but it doesn’t have to be so one-sided.

Trump’s list features a mix of Democrats who are still publicly undecided on impeachment (even if they supported the inquiry) and Dems who have already bravely declared their support for dumping the most corrupt president in our history. Dems like:
Susie Lee (NV-3):
“This is a grave decision that requires thorough and solemn deliberation,” Lee said in a statement. “After weighing all of the facts, I will be voting in support of impeachment of the president.”
Lee said Trump clearly abused his power and obstructed Congress. She cited her “constitutional duty” to keep American elections safe, an apparent reference to the House’s allegations that Trump solicited Ukraine to investigate the family of Democratic presidential hopeful and former Vice President Joe Biden.
“I took an oath of office to defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic,” Lee said. “This is a solemn decision. I end with this: Democracies live and die by the integrity of our elections.”
Colin Allred (TX-32):
Dallas Rep. Colin Allred on Friday announced that he will vote to impeach President Donald Trump, saying “it is clear the president engaged in an abuse of his authority, putting himself above the law, and his personal interests above the nation’s.”
“These uncontroverted facts are an unacceptable violation of his oath of office and constitute an impeachable abuse of power,” he said in a news release. “This is a somber moment for our nation, and I have not reached this decision lightly.”
Max Rose (NY-11):
Rose is a freshman Democrat from a swing district comprised of Staten Island and parts of Brooklyn that Trump carried in the 2016 election by 10 points and was undecided on his position in recent days after the House brought forward the two articles of impeachment.
“A President coercing a foreign government into targeting American citizens is not just another example of scorched earth politics, it serves as an invitation to the enemies of the United States to come after any citizen, so long as they disagree with the President. Embarking on an unprecedented effort to obstruct this inquiry doesn’t make the facts any less true,” Rose said in a statement announcing his position. “Therefore I will vote in support of the two Articles of Impeachment.”
There are a number of other Democrats who have declared their support despite the GOP’s already targeting them with millions of dollars in ads (which are, of course, incredibly fear-mongering and misleading).
Usually, I’m focused on raising money for Democrats challenging Republican incumbents, especially in state and local races. And I’m not always super pleased with Democratic leadership or squishy moderates (including a few on this list!). But I have to give credit to them for pursuing impeachment for the good of the country.
For that reason, I’m raising money for those swing district Dems who have already declared their support for impeachment, either with a Judiciary Committee vote or commitment to an overall vote. They’re going to face a whole lot of headwinds, so they can use any help they can get.
Here’s the list of brave Democrats so far:
Lucy McBath, Lauren Underwood, Max Rose, Susan Wild, Dean Phillips, Colin Allred, Harley Rouda, Debbie Mucarsel-Powell, Conor Lamb, Tom O'Halleran, Kim Schrier, Harley Rouda, Antonio Delgado, Sean Patrick Maloney, Susie Lee
