It seems we’re surrounded by the cruel and vile these days. Predators walk among us wearing expensive suits, with expensive friends who know how to manipulate the rules in their favor. From the Oval Office, suburban cul-de-sacs, to hidden chat rooms, those that prey on the vulnerable walk the streets, live next door, pose for the cameras.
They are those who seek to do harm.
Fortunately, there are also those who have dedicated their life’s work to protecting the vulnerable. They know how to put away those who are dangerous. They know how to prosecute the case.
When the depth of Epstein’s depravity and Acosta’s inversion of justice broke into full view, Kamala Harris had a few things to say, as only someone with a long history of prosecuting sexual predators could.
Attorney General Kamala D. Harris' Bill to Combat Human Trafficking Unanimously Passes out of State Senate
When Senator Harris spoke truth on The View, she spoke on behalf of our daughters, our grand daughters. She spoke truth for the many who have endured — unacknowledged and unheard — being stalked, abused, and raped. Kamala has both the courage and caring to see those who have been hunted. Our daughters and grand daughters. Our mothers and sisters. Ourselves.
Kamala spoke unflinching truth and the response was immediate. Below is just a sampling.
There are millions of us who feel the same way. We’ve been hunted. We’ve seen our daughters hunted when they were still babies. We’ve seen our mothers, sisters, and friends raped.
We’re past tired of waiting for predators to be held accountable. We’re past tired of waiting for justice.
Our “Joyful Warrior” brought her campaign for Justice to New Hampshire this past weekend. And people were waiting to hear and see her —
As always, Kamala makes time for the children —
And it matters —
Of course Kamala was not in New Hampshire alone. The future First Dude, the one and only Doug, seemed to be everywhere. And people loved it.
Looks like even white suburban women “love” Kamala. This is but one of the many reasons Kamala is going to win.
You know this has happened more than once. We love Doug. :)
Kamala and Doug makes such a great team. And this is just fun! :)
Kamala does not stop working to protect the vulnerable and ensure justice.
The more Kamala is heard and seen, the more people respond. People are getting involved and her support is growing. Won’t you join us in the fight to return caring, intelligence, competency, accountability, courage, integrity, and justice to the White House?

Group Guidelines
The Kamala2020 community group has been created to positively support Senator Kamala Harris, and not to engage in negativity towards other Democrats running in the 2020 primaries.
All should be made to feel welcomed here. What’s not welcomed here is petty bickering over any of our preferred candidates, or personal attacks on fellow Democrats. We’re not responsible for the actions of others who may offend, insult or attempt to sow discord and disunity — that’s on them.
What we are responsible for are our own words and actions — that’s 100% on us.
I’d like to ask all group members, as well as those dropping by who support or are interested in Kamala’s bid for the nomination, that we not respond to negativity from other campaign’s supporters with even more negativity. Let’s do better than our best and respond with respect, humor or try to hold our peace. Recipes and cat pics work, too 😃
Doing no harm costs us nothing... pie-fights will cost us everything.
For the children. For those who have been preyed upon. May they all find a “safe place to land.’ May we work tirelessly to make it so. It’s up to us. Let’s get it done.
"A Safe Place To Land"
(feat. John Legend)
When holding your breath is safer than breathing
When letting go is braver than keeping
When innocent words turn to lies
And you can't hide by closing your eyes
When the pain is all that they offer
Like the kiss from the lips of monster
You know the famine so well, you never met the feast
And home is the belly of the beast
The ocean is wild and over your head
And the boat beneath you is sinking
Don't need room for your bags
Hope is all that you have
So say the Lord's prayer twice, hold your babies tight
Surely someone will reach out a hand
And show you a safe place to land
Imagine yourself in a building
Up in flames being told to stand still
The window's wide open
This leap is on faith
You don't know who will catch you
Maybe somebody will
The ocean is wild and over your head
And the boat beneath you is sinking
Don't need room for your bags
Hope is all that you have
So say the Lord's prayer twice, hold your babies tight
Surely someone will reach out a hand
And show you a safe place to land
Be the hand of a hopeful stranger
Little scared but you're strong enough
Be the light in the dark of this danger
'Til the sun comes up
Be the hand of a hopeful stranger
Little scared but you're strong enough
Be the light in the dark of this danger
'Til the sun comes up
Be the hand of a hopeful stranger
Little scared but you're strong enough
Be the light in the dark of this danger
'Til the sun comes up
Be the hand of a hopeful stranger
Little scared but you're strong enough
Be the light in the dark of this danger
'Til the sun comes up
