When you’ve been supplying young girls to people in the upper echelon of society, you expect protection from those people, and from “their” justice system. Jeffrey Epstein was protected in Florida in 2008. He got a sweetheart-deal from (ex-Trump cabinet member) Alex Acosta, US Attorney.
A little over a year in a sieve of a “prison cell” outside of which he spent most of his days, before being released early.
That was ostensibly remedied in 2019, when he was arrested by the FBI, on indictments handed down by SDNY’s Geoffrey Berman (now suspiciously fired by Trump). He was later found dead in his cell.
Nevertheless, part of that Florida deal was that Maxwell (plus any and all co-conspirators) was given full immunity for any crimes that happened between 2001 and 2007. Yes, full immunity for merely KNOWING Jeffrey Epstein.
Because of this, Ghislaine Maxwell apparently thought that she was untouchable.
But that immunity covered only crimes committed in Florida, and for only between 2001 and 2007.
She’s been charged for crimes committed elsewhere, and in the 1990’s.
After being arrested at her New Hampshire home (called “TUCKEDAWAY”) she was SHOCKED and FURIOUS that this had happened. My guess is that she had been assured by people in high places (she’s even good friends with Prince Andrew), that she was under their protection. You know, in exchange for services rendered.
Go to 16:05 to hear how that turned out:
It is also intimated in the video, that Ms. Maxwell is a narcissist who cares only about herself, and so will be likely to give names to the authorities, just to save herself.
Well, and as retribution against those who refused to “protect” her.
Tom Copeland, an attorney with Florida-based law firm Goldenfarb, which represents six victims in pending civil cases, said yesterday: "It would be outrageous for her to get any kind of sweetheart deal. There is little doubt she has information about others that makes her a key witness. If witness protection were to be offered she might view it as a means by which to vanish forever."
Federal defence attorney Gregg Lerman revealed Maxwell and her legal team could be hammering out a deal with prosecutors using a court tool known as a "Queen for a Day" proffer.
He said: "Just like it says, you're the queen for the day. You get to talk about what you know and who you know - and that information cannot be used against you.
"In a one-day session, the accused can reveal with immunity all of the evidence they can bring to the table, with the assumption that the government will agree to cut a deal in their case."
Survivors of Epstein’s and Maxwell’s crimes are understandably upset that she too might “escape justice.”
But what if Maxwell has information that could bring down an entire underage-sex-trafficking ring?
How many other young girls might be saved by her testimony?
It’s something the survivors may have to prepare themselves for.
Meanwhile, Maxwell’s lawyers have been charged with the Sisyphussian task of getting her out of prison on bail. $5mil to be precise.
“Ghislaine Maxwell is not Jeffrey Epstein,” they wrote.
On Thursday, Ms. Maxwell’s lawyers asked a federal judge in Manhattan to release her from jail on $5 million bond, arguing that she did not pose a flight risk and had not been hiding from the authorities.
Flight-risk notwithstanding…………
I think they’re just as worried that if released on bail, she might off herself, or that someone else might do it for her.
Ghislaine is in a bit of a pickle.
But it’s a pickle that she jarred herself, made from a cucumber she personally cultivated in the garden of Jeffrey Epstein’s perversity.

Those wondering about statute of limitations on Maxwell’s alleged crimes:
The average statute of limitation for a federal crime is 5 years. However, more serious crimes—often capital crimes—do not have a statute of limitation. Federal trafficking law 18 U.S.C. § 1591, which criminalizes sex trafficking by force, fraud, coercion, or of a child, does not have a statute of limitation.
