Quinnipiac has polls for three high profile US Senate races. Two Republicans are in big trouble.
New Quinnipiac polls of several interesting U.S. Senate races:
- Maine: Sarah Gideon (D) 54%, Susan Collins (R) 42%
- South Carolina: Lindsey Graham (R) 48%, Jaime Harrison (D) 48%
- Kentucky: Mitch McConnell (R) 53%, Amy McGrath (D) 41%
Quinnipiac also polled for president. Trump leads in Kentucky by 58% to 38%. In South Carolina the race is fairly close with Trump ahead 51% to 45%.
Biden dominates in Maine with a lead of 59% to 38%. In Maine CD 1, he has a lead of 32% and in Maine CD-2, his lead is 9%. Trump won ME-CD 2 in 2016.
For comparison, Hillary Clinton won Maine by 3% four years ago. She lost in South Carolina by 14% and lost Kentucky by 30%.
Voters have made up their minds for president. In Kentucky, 93% say they will not considering changing. In South Carolina and Maine, 96% of voters say they are certain of their vote.
The poll was taken September 10-14 of likely voters. Quinnipiac University Poll is rated as “B+” by 538.

This is another tough day for Trump in the state polls. ABC News/Washington Post was out with polls earlier that showed Biden winning Minnesota by 16% and Wisconsin by 6%.
Morning Consult released its daily poll with Biden leading in Wisconsin 51% to 42%.

If you need one more good poll. Global Strategies Group has a poll for Michigan CD-3, (Justin Amash’s district) it shows Biden leading 48% to 40% in a district Trump won by 10%. The poll was taken for Democratic congressional candidate Hilary Scholten and shows her tied with Republican Peter Meijer at 41% each. The district has a PVI of R +6%.
