This is the trailer —
It is the final account — that thing took ten years to do. The people in this — are almost certainly dead now. They were the Nazis that did it— so what they have to say now about it — is timeless to me. And would be forever lost if that guy did not put this together. He died before it was finished.
It plays in so few theaters — but I sure think it will be released for streaming next month.
See — my dad was there when Buchenwald was liberated. My mother was a nurse on the trains that got some of them to American hospitals and some of my family died in those camps.
The truth is — my father killed a hell of a lot of Germans — my mother saved German wounded. Among other people on that hospital train — our soldiers, our POWs and non-combatants like from the camps.
I think we need to hear exactly what they have to say now —from the Nazis that did this.
If you can get a chance to see this movie — I think you should. I am waiting impatiently —
This really should have been released in many more theaters.
Eisenhower was right you know — if they did not truly document it — nobody would have believed it 50 years later.
IMHO
