Obviously this was a bad debate. Biden having a bad day is occasional; Trump lying is constant.
Everyone has bad days unless they’re perfect. That’s why staffing the cabinet and agencies is critical. While a president needs to be intelligent and well-informed, they cannot be an expert in all matters. They need al staff of experts to provide the details and offer advice.
Pay attention to whom each candidate plans to appoint to critical positions. One plans to appoint experts; the other plans to appoint convicted felons and election deniers. Whose advice would you prefer, leaders in their field or sycophants?
I, personally, am not worried about Biden being able to perform the job. He has done and continues to do a competently good job. He is highly respected, highly intelligent, highly humanitarian, and highly truthful. Plus he plans to appoint highly competent leaders to positions of power.
Besides, not being a convicted felon he is not prohibited from bearing arms. How could we even think of putting a convicted felon, who cannot even carry a gun, in control of the nuclear launch codes?
