So, last night I achieved a new milestone…
Out of curiosity I visited the Federal Election Commission (FEC) website and checked to see just how many official campaign committees have raised less than $500,000 so far this cycle.
The list was more than 7,500 organizations, including nearly 5,800 PACs, 1,400 Super PACs and over 300 Parties.
Among those I’ve raised more money than?
- The Wyoming Republican Party ($173K)
- The Hawaii Republican Party ($181K)
- The Kansas Republican Party ($258K)
- The Louisiana Republican Party ($282K)
- The Alaska Republican Party ($349K)
- The Maine Republican Party ($428K)
- The Nebraska Republican Party ($437K)
And, even more amusingly…
- The Green Party of the United States ($281K)
I should note that unlike professional fundraisers who typically take 5 — 10% of what they raise, I don’t receive one dime of what I’m raising for Democrats. If you’d like to support me directly for my efforts, you can do so here.
In any event, I’m just getting started. Please use the links below to help me reach (and exceed) my official target of raising $4 million for Democrats up & down the ballot this cycle:
P.S. For those wondering, the FEC has a total of around 8,500 PACs, SuperPACs and Party Committees listed. Of those, through the end of March, the fundraising breakout is as follows:

- More than $10M: 73
- More than $25M: 35
- More than $50M: 22
- More than $100M: 13
The 13 which have raised more than $100 million so far include:

- WinRed ($634 Million)
- Biden Victory Fund ($281 Million)
