Great, I thought. Finally, someone is going to diary how most of all, we need a credible leader at this point. He had one good, appropriate sentence,
We'll assume from the outset that neither Bush nor the Republican leadership has control of their own caucus, and it seems a demonstrable fact that McCain does not.
But the rest discussed alternative paths forward -- not who will, or can, lead us.
Everyone has opinions as to what happened and what Congress should do now. We can't even agree if there is a crisis. But there is a fundamental problem: Credible leadership.
