“Waste no time on anger, regret or resentment, just get the job done” - Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the 107th Supreme Court Justice
I haven't written a diary in years.
Last night, I was lying awake with sadness about RBG’s death. And then I realized, Ruth Bader Ginsburg never wasted time wallowing in sadness. She fought for what she believed in, with every moment.
I created this ActBlue page and shared it on my twitter and FB. I wondered if the idea of giving $107 to honor the memory of our 107th Supreme Court Justice might resonate.

When I checked this morning, just 8 hours later, this page had raised over $20,000! The money goes direct from ActBlue to the 7 senate races that are closest to tipping to the Democrats plus Joe Biden’s campaign. See update below for more details.*

So now I’m sharing it with you. Please join me in honoring RBG’s memory by donating $107 to help flip the Senate and the Presidency. And please share on your social media and with your friends.
We must make vulnerable R senators scared to hold confirmation hearings, so that they keep her seat open. We must elect a new Senate and elect Joe Biden. We must honor RBG’s memory to usher in a new decade of justice for all.

*Update: The 7 senate campaigns I chose were based on 538’s data about which seats were closest to flipping to the Democratic candidate: Barbara Bollier (KS), Jon Ossoff (GA), Sara Gideon (ME), Cal Cunningham (NC), Steve Bullock (MT), Jaime Harrison (SC), and Theresa Greenfield (IA). I didn't include AZ or CO, as they seem fairly solid for the Dems already.
