With Halloween just around the corner, some folks in the White House are getting into the spooky spirit. Namely, Press Secretary Robert Gibbs.
As you most likely have heard, Sarah Palin has a book coming out entitled Going Rogue. But Palin isn't just "going rogue" or "writing rogue". She's "living rogue". Because what can be more rogue than going on the TV show of one of President Obama's biggest supporters?
In mere days, my city, Chicago will be overrun by the worst of the worst. The lowest of the low. Criminals who have affected more lives than any mugger, killer, or gangster. My city is going to be overrun by Banksters.
As you have most likely heard, the head of the Republican party, Rush Limbaugh, is attempting to purchase the St. Louis Rams NFL franchise.
As you may have heard, last week we received some blockbuster news out of the state Connecticut, when Linda McMahon, CEO of the WWE, World Wrestling Entertainment, announced that she was stepping down from her position in the company to run for Senate.
I hate to say it, but the Republicans were right. Glenn Beck was right. Michelle Malkin was right. WorldNetDaily? Newsmax? Right and right. The right couldn't be more right about the fact that President Obama is trying to indoctrinate our children into an evil web of Communism/Socialism/Marxism/Fascism with his address to the schoolchildren of America next week.
Hey folks, I was recently asked by the Nation Institute to make a short video to draw attention to an excellent story about Fiji Water by Anna Lenzer that's in this month's Mother Jones. I think the video turned out pretty well so I'm posting it here. Hope you like it and if you do, check out Anna's story.
Oh my god! Sarah Palin was right! And after we mocked her, mercilessly, for what we all thought were asinine comments about death panels. Little did we know that Sarah the Oracle was just trying to warn us when she said
The America I know and love is not one in which my parents or my baby with Down Syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama's "death panel" so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their "level of productivity in society," whether they are worthy of health care. Such a system is downright evil.
(For those attending Netroots Nation next week, be sure to stop by my panel with Andy Cobb, Cenk Uygur of the Young Turks, Sam Seder and Jason Barnett of the Uptake.) -- It's been reported that the rash of Republican operatives loudly interrupting town hall meetings is being organized and funded by right wing groups such as Freedom Works and Americans for Prosperity. They have also, of course, received glowing coverage by the "reporters" on Fox News.
(For those attending Netroots Nation, make sure to stop by my panel and say howdy.) --
After several days of being attacked for his spreading of the blatantly false Obama birth certificate story, the tide appears to have now turned for CNN's Lou Dobbs.
Ever since Sarah Palin's abrupt and odd resignation as Governor of Alaska, people have been speculating what her next career move might be.
Montana Senator Max Baucus has made some health insurance executives very, very happy. As you may have heard, the Senate Finance Committee, which Baucus chairs, has crafted a "bipartisan", or "crappy", compromise leaving out both a public option and employer mandate.
