The rightie blogosphere is in chaos trying to decide what the operative talking point should be regarding the 380 ton explosive bomb that is rocking the BC04 campaign. Some are throwing their bets behind Drudge/NBC/CNN/The Corner's talking point that the explosives were looted before the troops had a chance to secure them.
Bird Dog, over at the diminishing Tacitus, has fallen behind this line.
Redstate, the new community rightie website setup to compete with DKos, has also taken some steps in support of this line.
Problem is, this line has already been debunked. Never fear right wing dittoheads, Tacitus, the erstwhile contemptuous proprietor of the Bird Dog's site is trying to come to the rescue of this heavily invested talking point. Tacitus is shitting on Bird Dog's talking point now, so he can save it later. He's trying to find members of the military to "prove" that the explosives weren't at the site when the military arrived.
